๐ญFactory Farming
While small farms kill innocent and sentient individuals just the same (many even using the same slaughterhouses as factory farms do), factory farming makes up the vast majority of animal farming operations. Factory farming is also known as "concentrated animal farming operations" (CAFOs) or "intensive management styles".

"Grass-fed" cattle can eat grain before being sent to slaughter, or when weather conditions are unsuitable. Because cattle bred for beef are slaughtered at just 1-year-old, this can make up their entire life. [Citation to be added later]
