👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Societal Indoctrination

The vast majority of us are raised indoctrinated into speciesism. As children, we don't know much better than we are told, so we are heavily influenced by society around us such as our friends and family. It just so happens that at this point in history, most societies are heavily speciesist. And through little fault of their own, too. Our parents were taught by their parents who were taught by their parents, all the way back to when it was a necessity to exploit other animals for our wellbeing.
